Trip. Tate Gallery part 1

Eventually I visited the Tate Gallery in March.
It was a nice day. Spent just under 4 hours there.

Nice building, nice paintings, nice sculptures.

First of all, I went to have something to eat.

Then I started my journey...

 (one of the maps)
(part of "what's on today")

One the wall facing cloak room, interesting themes/topics/relationship of art & society/people.

Doorways throught the rooms.

It might have been
a fable or story.
But it seems to me
more like
telling men
to battle/fight their
own monster.

A painting with a lady wearing a dress with satin fabric ...

 close up...

A good proportion of art works bear biblical theme/Christian topics.

Britain has a Christian heritage. May the God's teachings flourish again in the hearts of all people in Britain ASAP!

 sculpture...
with music instrument.
Actually
there was an old gentleman
 trying to do
a drawing/painting with it
on the spot.

it is a little like time travel ...
looking back...
through the eyes
of the painters/artists.

Where was I in the time tunnel?
(years/era on the floor)

Clarification:
 I didn't go
to Tate Britain Gallery
for the David Hockney exhibition.

Modern art
is not really my cup of tea
(with a few exceptions)
Not the Tate Modern either.
