Lazy meals protein packed
Simple quick & easy.
1 saucepan 1 bowl.
Meal 1
Linda MacCartney vegetarain meat balls.
This pact does not have egg or milk.
I boiled a pack of mixed vegetables.
The balls are tasty enough.
Also I added rehydrated seaweeds.
With an Oriental twist.
The Tofoo Company naked.
Lots of protein.
I boiled them.
Pour into a bowl with large tablespoon of Clear Spring red Miso paste.
Adding good mixed olives in garlic chili.
A tiny bit of smoked garlic tamarind pickle from The GarlicGrower..
I added seaweed again.
Sprinkle some toasted sesame.
Toasted sesame oil.
Voila.
I also have plenty of
fruit,
mixed nuts
and salad.
Guess
how many grams of protein come from the meatless meat balls and tofu!?

Food expo VegFest Brighton 2019 part 2
Continue, Food expo: VegFest Brighton 2019.
This part mainsly shows some stalls, cooking demo & kids area.
In order to browse leisurely and take photos,
I arrived after the busiest lunch hours.
There is a large kids area for interesting snack class
hosted by a guy dressed in dramatic costumes. Not in photo.
And a bicycle-powered blender for kids to make their own fruit smoothies/shakes.
This stall's tasting containers in little boat shape.
Curries.
Lots of choices of food.
Funny names: Fake & Kidme pie. (vegan steak & kidney pie?)
For those who still loves the sensation of sinking their teeth in sausages...
vegan hotdogs. Drawing inspiration from 5 international cuisines
I didn't take much pictures for stalls which do fruit smoothies or fruit juices.
Quite a number of them. Naturally good.
Loving Hut express is there, too.
Also dishes from around the world.
Plant-based a.k.a. vegan in Thai style.
Greek style.
one of the cooking demos.
There are various talks, too.
Stalls of clothings, make up, skin care, interesting accessories, etc.
The VegFest Brighton website have a list of exhibitors.
There are 2 or 3 gin bars, beer bar, wine stalls, too.
Got a free gift.
Each visitor can choose from 3:
a bottled drink including kombucha,
a jar of humus stuffed cherry-tomato,
a small bar of coffee chocolate.
All plant-based (a.k.a vegan).
I chose choc.
I also tasted 3 different types of Ferme the fermented cashew nut cheese.
Cicioni is also nice.
Such expo are good -
tasting/trying, seeing new products, expo promotional prices.
I bought a jar of special mix turmeric drink powder to help me help reduce internal inflamation.
A flexible silicon cup cover.
A can of jack fruit.
A trial pack of fermented tea-leaves for use in salad. (Burma/Myanmar salad Lahpet Thoke)
Pack of 4 pick-n-mix small beers.
Since I have to travel a long journey,
I didn't buy those delicious plant-based nut-based cheese.
As the bag is already heavy, I have not bought herbs pot plant.
Thankful for a nice afternoon.

Food expo VegFest Brighton 2019 part 1
VegFest Brighton 2019. Over 200 stalls of different products predominantly food.
Tasting, shopping, talks, cooking demo, etc.
Alcohol, clothing, skin care, make up, accessories, charities, cooking demonstrations, exhibitions...
Going to expo is nice experience. Shops from far away places gather in one place. Expo special promotional prices. Tasting. Even price draws. Talks and cooking demonstration...
I bought electronic ticket beforehand.
Arriving around late lunch time.
Food first.
Though I do fancy an ocassional pie, since there are many other choices upstairs,
I quickly walked passed stalls of pies.
Among various cuisines, I chose this
pulled jackfruit bun. Interesting contrast.
(I tried some others before)
From Manchester.
The container is composable vegware.
Ha! KFS, not KFC.
Sei-tan is a plant based protein.
Many choices in each stall.
All plant-based.
Inspirational ideas.
Busy tasting different plant-based, nut-based cheese products, forgotten to take photos. Ferme is nice. 3 flavours of cashews fermentino.
The exotic Berma/ Myanmar salad Lahpet Thoke with fermented tea leaves is also nice. I had forgotten to take photo and these are from their postcard.

Japanese manga artist Rumiko Takahashi won top prize in Angouleme Festival in France
Wow! Rumiko Takahashi won a top prize from the equivalent of Oscar in France for manga & comics!
The prestigious Angouleme International Comics Festival .
France24 , JapanTimes and various media report that, too. Ms Takahashi looks beautiful.
https://www.japantimes.co.jp/culture/2019/01/24/entertainment-news/cartoonist-rumiko-takahashi-wins-top-prize-french-comics-festival/
In Japan, it is an unwritten code of conduct to conform, not to standout, not to be different from others... Her stories often put the outsiders & "eccentrics" characters (and experiences) in forefront.
Inspirational!
I had watched the TV animation versions of some of her works,
“Ranma 1/2”, Urusei Yatsura” (or “Lum” ), “Mansion Ikkoku, Inuyasha.
Forigners, aliens(literally), mixed race...
Of course, the stories have been well-seasoned with
humour, jokes, love, adventures, naughty things, etc,
to deliver deeper meaningful things to young people and the young at heart.
Previously, I was writing about one of her influential work Inuyasha.
The link between the various metaphoric and esoteric concepts of light ...i
n the story and in the characters.
The names of the two leading ladies are star lights.
The precioys gem emit lights.
Virtues clear away darkness.
Light of the best of human nature.
Halo. Saintly light.
https://sn-uk.blogspot.com/2018/05/inuyasha-and-light.html
Light!
And I have just found out
the different meanings lost in translations over the past two millenniums...
hidden in the ancient Hebrew language and Aramaic language,
the original languages the sacred books were written.
https://www.chaimbentorah.com/015/06/word-study-light-noohra-aramaic-or-hebrew-אור-נהר
Translations via Greek, Latin, German, English, Chinese, Japanese...
are not as good as investicating the messages in original language(s).
With that information in that site,
the story of Daniel and
how he got the supernatural power and answers are clearer.
He asked God to give answers through dreams.
Now we can understand ancient wisdom esoteric teaching inside the books in Bible much better.
Seek light.
BTW,
Daniel eats plant-based diet, fast & pray alot.
