Sights: wings

Ever since the 90s when I was in an art & design course, I found myself attracted to winged figures.

Here showing photos of a statue.
I cannot get close to it. Resolution is low using only my phone. Not easy to escape from the distracting buildings, lamp posts, scaffolding of the town scene.

This is a memorial to remember those local citizens who died fighting World War as soldiers.
